This is common error on new cPanel/WHM servers or virtual dedicated servers (VDS):
Once you get the POP-UP window for the error, add the ‘Hostname A Entry’ by clicking the ‘Add’ button in the POP-UP, after verifying the IP address details that it shows. This should be done just once.
This error message will keep coming up until the hostname of the server has started resolving to the correct IP address and the DNS propagation has been completed.
It seems like WHM doesn’t take into account the /etc/hosts entry.

There are many places where WHM does a direct lookup at whatever hosts are in resolv.conf, its always been annoying and (seemingly) always will be.
I know they must do this when validating licenses .. but really, /etc/hosts exists for a reason as far as anything else goes
Try telling them that ….
