How to enable Remote Desktop on Windows Server 2003/XP

To enable Remote Desktop on a newly configured Server 2003 or XP computer, you can follow these steps:

1. Right click on My Computer, and go to Properties.

2. Click the Remote tab and click the Allow users to connect remotely to your computer check box, then click Ok.

3. If you are having issues connecting still, ensure incoming connections to port 3389 are enabled through your firewall.

  1. sir i am using server 2003 . remote desktop connection working,Beacuse i click the the remote tab and unable to click the checkbox , Hide “Allow users to connect remotely to your computer check box”,how to enable the checkbox . i try already some settings for gpedit.mse allow logon the remotly and then windows components terminal services to enable for
