XenServer Error While Adding Local Storage: SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_105

If you are receiving an error like the following in XenServer: SR_BACKEND_FAILURE_105

Edit the /etc/xensource-inventory file, and modify the PRIMARY_DISK value to a different drive.  Please note that there is no guarantee this will work, however it will create the local storage repository.

Adding Local Storage XenServer

To add local storage on XenServer using LVM, you can use the following command:

xe sr-create host-uuid=<tab> content-type=user name-label=”label you wish to use” shared=false device-config:device=/dev/DEVICE type=lvm

HyperVM: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied

Error:

Failed loading /usr/local/lxlabs/ext/lib/Zend/lib/Optimizer-2.5.7/php-5.2.x/ZendOptimizer.so:  /usr/local/lxlabs/ext/lib/Zend/lib/Optimizer-2.5.7/php-5.2.x/ZendOptimizer.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied

Solution:

If you are receiving this error while installing , then you need to disable selinux.  This can be done by changing it to disabled in /etc/selinux
