PHP 5.2.9 Compile with mcrypt failing on CentOS 5

If you are getting the following message while trying to compile PHP 5.2.9 with mcrypt:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lltdl
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [libphp5.la] Error 1

Then try this:

yum install libtool-ltdl-devel
