HyperVM: remote_authentication_failed / Can’t reset password in HyperVMError: HyperVM: remote_authentication_failed If you are receiving this error, and HyperVM won’t reset the password on the slave server, you can manually do this on the slave server using the following commands: # cd /usr/local/lxlabs/hypervm/httpdocs You then may need to force delete, and re-add the server with the new password. Problems accessing Console on Xen virtual serverIf you are having trouble accessing all virtual server’s (DomUs) via their consoles on a Xen server, you can easily resolve this by restarting xenconsoled. What is HVM?HVM stands for Hardware Virtual Machine, and is usually used in reference to AMD’s and Intel’s Virtualization technology included in their new processors (Intel VT and AMD Pacifica).
